Yes, resources are for us human beings to use. However, our responsibility is for us to use them wisely, responsibly and sustainably. We need to reduce the rate of waste, save and plant more trees, promote and practice recycling, promote use of renewable and clean energy without depleting our natural resources. Mbeleni Foundation works with communities to promote and adopt proper environmental use and management that lead to environmental sustainability. We advocate for proper land use and management through Tree planting as a measure to restore the green. This means that communities will not only reduce deforestation but also ensures good health. Agro forestry is integrated in the agricultural program through boundary tree planting, fruit trees and coffee growing. Mbeleni promotes climate smart activities through advocacy and engagements.
